The CMP 10 is a class A (secondary standard) pyranometer with the best price-quality-performance ratio on the market. The CMP 10 pyranometer (ISO 9060:2018 - spectrally flat, class A / formerly ISO 9060:1990 secondary standard) is based on the established CMP 11 technology. CMP 10 extends this quality to applications where maintenance is difficult and/or forms a major part of the cost of ownership.
The integrated bubble level is raised to the top of the housing and can be viewed without removing the snap-on sun shield, which also covers the signal cable connector. The connection with weatherproof connectors allows easy replacement and recalibration.
The CMP 10 has an internal drying cartridge that will last for at least 10 years if the housing is not opened. This minimizes maintenance significantly.
The interval for dome cleaning can be extended and the quality of measurements maximized, by fitting CMP 10 with a CVF 4 ventilation unit.
The pyranometer does not require any power. His output signal is a low voltage around 0 - 20 mV in relation to the amount of incoming radiation. When a higher signal level (0 - 1 V or 4 - 20 mA) is required, the choice of an AMPBOX or the SMART PYRANOMETER Model SMP 10 has to be considered.
