While most of the meteorological parameters are typically recorded over a longer period of time, some applications require just a first short idea of what the climatological conditions are at the moment. Without any equipment it is difficult, see impossible, to have an idea what a value of a certain parameter is.


Hand held instruments can be in that case a good assistant and give a lot better information than trying to estimate it.


In difficult conditions or where a parameter set-up is not possible for any reason, we can provide instruments giving reliable information within a certain limit of course of how they are used.


Hand held instruments can also be used for teaching purposes since in most cases a direct relationship from what is seen or felt can be transposed to a direct read-out allowing to start, while observing, a discussion about the reigning conditions.
