This Albedometer Kit is fully compliant with ISO 9060:2018 - spectrally flat, class B specification (formerly ISO 9060:1990 first class) and is ideal to define the ratio of irradiance reflected to the irradiance received by a surface (albedo). This results in a scale from 0 (no reflection) to 1 (total reflection).
By using two separate pyranometers with a mounting fixture (plate and rod) and glare screen for the lower pyranometer there is a choice of configurations available.
The CMB 1 mounting bracket can be used to fix the rod to a pole or wall.
If the CMF 1 mounting fixture is replaced by the CMF 4 model, the CVF 4 ventilation unit can be used with the upper and/or lower pyranometers, but when a lower ventilation unit is used, the glare screen cannot be fitted.
For the lower CVF 4 a special glare screen is available.
Its good quality and cost-effectiveness make the CMP 6 Albedometer Kit ideal for meteorology, hydrology and agricultural applications.
