Davis AirLink Air Quality Sensor 7210

The Davis AirLink Air Quality Sensor 7210 uploads indoor and outdoor air quality data directly to the WeatherLink Cloud via Wi-Fi.

It can be used as a standalone sensor or added to your Vantage Pro 2, WeatherLink Live or EnviroMonitor system.

The measuring instrument can be installed indoors on a flat surface or suspended using the included bracket. It can also be used outdoors (in a protected location) with the included sensor cover.

The Davis AirLink measures particles in the air (PM1, PM2.5 and PM10) by projecting a laser beam through the air. Particles in the air reflect the beam and the sensor uses the reflection to determine the number and size of the particles.

It allows then the AQI (Air Quality Index according to EPA standards) to be calculated. The European air quality index Citeair, as well as others, can also be calculated. In addition, temperature and relative humidity are measured as well.
