While the Belgian authorities are continuously monitoring the radio activity on the whole country's territory, nearby the well-known nuclear sites, not only a denser monitoring network is set up, but also meteorological data is monitored.
The typical measured meteorological parameters are :
- wind speed & wind direction (mainly, but not only, measured by ultrasonic anemometers)
- temperature on different levels
- presence of rain
